Led by Troy Worcester — a carpenter by trade with 35 years in the industry — we build modern custom homes, transformations and renovations across Perth for people who want something considered, well made and genuinely their own: from a single room through to a whole property, and typically in the $100k to $600k range.
Our approach is carpentry-led and driven by materials. We favour high-quality, long-lasting and environmentally sound products — warm natural timber, prefinished finishes and low-carbon alternatives to heavy traditional materials — so your home looks better for longer and treads more lightly on the environment. Building runs in the Worcester family. Troy's father was a builder, his brother is a builder, and Troy is a carpenter by trade with 35 years in the industry — a second-generation builder who has spent his working life on site rather than behind a desk.
He started out as an apprentice carpenter on World Expo 88, and spent the decades that followed on commercial projects — where programs are planned to the day and nothing gets done twice. Build 32 exists to bring that discipline home: commercial-grade planning and sequencing applied to Perth houses, so your project moves faster and lands where it should, with the personal attention only an owner-builder can give.
Apprenticed on World Expo 88
Troy started out as an apprentice carpenter on World Expo 88 — an enormous build with a deadline that could not move. It taught him early that careful planning is what makes good workmanship possible.
A carpenter, first and always
Troy came up through carpentry rather than an office, and has stayed close to the tools ever since. That hands-on knowledge is why the detailing on a Build 32 job holds up — he knows exactly how it goes together.
